How to configure Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft Outlook should only be configured for staff that need to send emails externally from a school domain address. If this is not a requirement, then a normal email address needs to be created so they can use it for school purposes. The school recommends Gmail as an alternative.

Microsoft Outlook can be configured on any PC, but it is a local installation and not internet based. Therefore if the user wishes to check their emails online from home or from a tablet or phone, then this will need to be configured to these devices.

The staff member will first of all need to put in a request to IT for an email address. After approval, the following can be followed to configure locally to their PC.
